London with Friends - Leicester Square

04:41

After our trip to the shard we got the tube to Leicester Square, the darkness of the night was now fast approaching and all the bright colourful array of lights were taking over at Leicester Square!

Every other time that I have been to Leicester Square the statue has been boarded up with blue clouds and William Shakespeare quotes (see my other blog posts from London), however this time to my surprise when I looked to see the blue cloud panels they weren't there and in it's place was this lovely statue/water feature.

We had a drink in another All Bar One, before heading off to search for this 'special' Belgian beer that was in a 'special' test tube looking glass, that the guys wanted.

The Chinese Lanterns on the way

Sod the sunshine come & sit in the dark! - I quite liked this sign

We finally got the the place called 'Belgo' the first one we went to the bar wasn't open and the second one we trekked to luckily was open...however both looked like warehouses and me and Sam weren't too impressed but we both had champagne so that was nice, and the guys finally got their special beers in the fancy test tube glasses.

After these drinks we got the tube back to St. Pancras station where we had dinner at Carluccio's and still had a lot of time left so had drinks in the Searcy's Champagne Bar before getting the very long journey train home....

Press for Champagne! Oh so posh!

This was meant to be a photo of the St. Pancras station - but some how it ended up like this! However, I quite like how it came out haha!
