The Fault in our Stars

14:32

I can not stop reading this wonderful piece of art by my favourite author, John Green. This book has once again, further confirmed the fact that he is indeed my favouirte author.

I am over half way through this beautifully written novel, I've had to force myself to put it down as I don't wish to read it all in one night and have nothing to look forward to tomorrow....although the book is laid next to be calling out to be read! It is a wonderful book It really is.

Words can not describe how wonderfully written this book is, although I can not understand Hazel and the other characters pain the book makes me feel as if I do. I love the power of books I love how for a few moments...or rather in my case hours they transport you into another world, a world where time doesn't really move but you stop reading and notice it's been 2 hours in real time. I like how you can forget all your problems whilst you reading and it's as if the characters world becomes your world.

I love all the quotes that John Green has put in from other books and poetry such as the work of Shakespeare and my other favourite author and poet Sylvia Plath. I especially like the quote about true love:

“Sometimes people don’t understand
the promises they’re making when they make them,” I said.
Isaac shot me a look. “Right, of course.
But you keep the promise anyway. That’s
what love is. Love is keeping the promise anyway. Don’t you believe in true love?”

I also love the part where you read the title in the book “there is no shortage of fault to be found amid our stars  - it makes me smile with a certain sense of delight...although maybe i'm just weird..

This book is amazing! I think it's one of those books that you could read over and over again and never get bored of...it is in a word....simply perfect.... and I am not even finished with it yet although already It has a make me smile, laugh and cry!

I can not wait to read more!
